200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training starts September 2017!!

Have you ever considered learning to teach yoga in order to help others take better care of themselves? Have you thought about deepening your own yoga practice? Medfield Yoga Studio is offering a life-changing 200+ hour yoga teacher training program to become a certified teacher. Our Yoga Alliance certified program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive, transformative yoga experience. Along with your FAVORITE Medfield Yoga teachers, we have some awesome guest teachers lined up, too!

Our teacher training program will help you teach a dynamic, unique, and challenging yoga class that’s appropriate for all levels. Our focus will be on Vinyasa (Flow), but you will also be exposed to other styles of classes such as Yin, Restorative, Gentle, and Prenatal. You will receive a LOT of practical teaching experience!

It’s our goal that you leave our program confident in your own abilities. It’s our mission to help you find your true yoga teacher self and voice. We will facilitate and support you as you begin this exciting adventure! You do NOT want to miss this!

Some of the topics we’ll cover:

TRADITIONAL TEXTS
An in-depth study of the history of yoga including traditional texts, Sanskrit, mantras, etc.

PHILOSOPHY
Lecture & discussion on the philosophy, lifestyle and ethics of yoga practitioners and teachers.

PRACTICE
Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Mudras, Mantras & Bandhas.

TEACHING TECHNIQUES
How to be an effective instructor, qualities of a teacher, styles of teaching, demos, observation, assisting and correcting.

ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY
Learn the body systems. General understanding of the musculoskeletal, endocrine, nervous, respiratory, and digestive systems.

YOGA BUSINESS
Practical tools to build a sustainable career in the yoga industry.

**Makeup Hours** It is important to be present at each session. If you need to miss a session, make up hours/work will need to be submitted and approved.

• Do you have any physical or mental challenges that affect your yoga practice? If so, please tell us how you’re handling them.
• What do you want to get out of this training?
• Please include any other information you feel would be helpful for us to know.
