This isn't just yoga.
It's where you step out of the noise, away from the screens, and your endless to-do list.
It's where you walk into a room where people actually know you.
Where someone cares how you're doing.
Not just another class. Not just another studio. Somewhere you actually want to be.
With each class, you breathe a little deeper.
Your mind gets quieter.
The weight of everything you've been carrying gets a little lighter.
You leave feeling like yourself again.
And for the first time in a long time, that's enough.
Never been to Medfield Yoga?
Somewhere between taking care of everyone else and keeping everything running smoothly, you got lost.
Medfield Yoga is where you find your way back.
One class at a time, you rebuild the part of yourself that isn't defined by your to-do list.
You breathe deeper. You sleep better. You stop apologizing for taking an hour for yourself.
That's what yoga does. And it starts with showing up.

We do things differently at Medfield Yoga.
We don't pack classes and hope for the best. We keep them small on purpose. So your teacher actually sees you, knows your name, and knows that your left hip has been acting up since March.
Tell us what you're looking for and we'll build you a Practice Plan.
This isn't a generic checklist. It's a real starting point based on your body, your goals, and where you are right now.

Do I need to be flexible to do yoga?
No! Flexibility is something you develop through yoga, not something you need before you start! So many people tell me they can't touch their toes, so they can't do yoga. That's the EXACT reason to do it! If you can breathe, you can do yoga.
What if I can't keep up in class?
There's no "keeping up" here. Every student is focused on their own mat and our instructors meet you where you are. The only expectation is that you show up. That's it.
Is yoga good for women over 50?
Absolutely. Yoga supports bone density, balance, flexibility, and stress management, all of which become increasingly important with age. Our classes are designed to meet you where you are in your body right now.
How often should I do yoga as a beginner?
Even once a week will make a difference, but two to three times a week is when most people start to notice real changes; in how they feel, how they move, and how they handle stress. Our two-week unlimited intro offer is a great way to build that rhythm!
Is yoga good for stress and anxiety?
Yes. Many students come to Medfield Yoga for the physical practice AND for the mental reset. Regular yoga practice is associated with better sleep, reduced tension, and a calmer nervous system.
Can I do yoga if I'm recovering from an injury, surgery, or have chronic pain?
In many cases, yes , but be sure you have your doctor's OK and let your instructor know before class. Our teachers can help you modify poses based on your needs. If you're dealing with something specific, private yoga is also an option and allows us to build a practice around your body.
